1/ “However, readers might feel tempted into asking (not the translator, but the “known-to-be-demanding” editors) a couple of below questions...” - Khi tempt là động từ, thì dùng là to tempt s/o into doing something hoặc to tempt s/o to do something; nhưng khi tempt gần như là tính từ (tempted) thì phải là “tempted to do something”. Trong cụm “feel tempted”, tempted ở đây gần như là tính từ, nên sau nó không thể là into mà là to, và như vậy cần viết lại là: readers might feel tempted to ask... - Below chưa bao giờ là adjective để có thể đặt trước noun như vậy.
2/ “... through which our English students may learn a lot...” Không ai nói “learn through...” mà nói “learn from...”

It is usually a big happiness for us idle readers to run accross a Vietnamese piece of literature translated into a different language, not only due to the current critical need for us to be globalized or just one’s curiosity to see how a Vietnamese mermaid is metamorphosed into a foreign princess in her splendid exotic wedding gown, but also because of another legitimate expectation — to simply learn something interesting and useful concerning translating our (very dear) mother tongue into a “step-mother tongue” and/or vice versa, in purely technical or academic terms... Lý Đợi is wise and sensitive enough to “declare” right from the beginning, “It is impossible to translate poetry, yet it is also impossible not to translate it.” I admire his wisdom and sensitivity, yet I think it is not completely useless to analyze the translation in technical terms, which I believe will not lessen our readers’ enjoyment of reading his really cool poems. Below are just a few questions that might show up during the course of reading the English version of “Bọn mày tưởng tao là ai?”... (...)

[DỊCH THUẬT VĂN CHƯƠNG] ... It is unexpected to re-meet Lý Đợi with his new piece, “Mới khai quật được bản sắc văn hóa Việt Nam”, which sounds quite “aggressive and wicked”. The translation is admirable, too, trying to keep parallel with the source text on the whole; however, there still seem to be some faint “flaws” in it, which could turn it a little less amazing. Please permit us (idle) readers to note a few below... (...)
